Welcome to my Diabetes UK One Million Step Challenge page!
A few years ago I found myself in the back of an ambulance on the way to hospital, having a heart attack. Tests revealed that I had type 2 diabetes and cholesterol. So many people will develop or have already developed diabetes, without being aware.
My stepfather had diabetes as does my wife and daughter, who have type 1, and this is becoming an increasingly common illness.
So I’m stepping up for Diabetes UK this summer to support the 5 million people in the UK who live with diabetes, day in day out. And you can too, just by making a donation.
